Capital Punishment ... should we?
Controversial and Personal Opinion
Every time we see a flash news on capital punishment on anyone, especially, if the community of the person is not hindu! ... there is always a hue and cry... Be it case of Kasab, or Azmal or Yakub.
Why haven't seen this outcry when a Hindu is being punished ... that actually doesn't even hit the newspapers ... last stats I read somewhere that since independence, only 8% of the cap punishment were to the muslim community.. why this outcry that because of being muslim the said person was targeted !!
I sincerely believe that people sitting in the courts as judges are no fools by any means... and they do go through the evidences and case details thoroughly and both sides have lawyers to support too... and if the court of law decides, it's certainly not an emotional decision.
I also believe media is making a mountain of a what is not even a molehill but continuously showing one side of the story ...

A tale of 2 prez
I was just reading today's news headlines about PP (successor of APJ-AK) ...
It shows how contrasting people can be ... On one hand, there is one Prez, who comes in a suitcase and leaves in that ... lives in the most prestigious address, but sleeps on floor... post his office goes back to college to teach (he went to Anna Univ) and spends most of his time in constructive work in the interest of nation.
On the other hand, the lady whose appointment it self was a question, comes and returns with allegedly taking away more than half of antiquities of the same address... to add to fury, misuses powers during her position to her personal benefits... and on top of that, now wishes to bend / change the law to accommodate her travel expenses (though she no longer is part of the office!!)
My personal opinion - the lady should be charged with criminal offense - from taking up (stealing) things from the R.B., misusing power and govt during and post her office period. Such people bring so much shame to the nation ...

The legacy to continue...
Disclaimer - Personal opinion only ...
... just the last elections, we were thinking on who would continue the "Nehru-Gandhi" political legacy, given Sonia is aging and ...our Rahul is still "Baba" and is still hasn't shown any sign of marriage and so no off springs to continue ...
BUT, here comes the flag bearer ... Rehan (son of Priyanka and Rob' Vadra) just visited and spent a night in Amethi ... of course, our omnipresent media has made sure that it is politicized.
So the legacy would continue.... "Nehru-Gandhi-Vadra" .... Congress to rejoice!!
