Trip to Dilli Haat …
Thanks to an old friend on mine RG, who was in town for the day, insisted on me seeing her all time favorite Dilli Haat. She knew that I’ll love the place … and she was absolutely right …
Though, by the time I reached to meet her at Dilli Haat, it was fairly late and was just before the closing time, I managed to get a good glimpse of what the ‘Haat’ is all about. There is a 4-5 day festival every season, and the bazaar keeps running all the time, the shops changing depending on the 'flavour of the season'.
Its not just out of some idiosyncrasy that I love Bhopal - that city can give one an amazing lifestyle ... it pains when one cannot manage to be there for life :-(
As I was a student surviving on a bank loan, I did not get a chance to splurge there. Waiting for next time.
